Funeral services for Charlotte M. Buckland will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Austin Buckland officiating. Burial at Grove Cemetery will take place at a later date. Friends and family may visit 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Charlotte died on Monday, November 8, 2021 at The Wyndmoor of Marion. She was born on March 1, 1921 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late William and Florence McCormick. She married Joe Edens and they later divorced. She then married Dwight Buckland and he preceded her in death. 

Surviving are a son; William (Judy) Edens of Jacksonville, FL, a daughter-in-law; Patricia Edens of Marion, sister-in-law; Kathalee Davis of Dunbar, WV, brother-in-law; William (Judy) Buckland of  Flagler Beach, FL, brother-in-law; Luther (Loraine) Buckland of Marion, 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great grandchildren and the rest of her Buckland family.

She was preceded in death by 2 children; Betty (Steve) Sharp, Herbert Edens and a great grandson; Brandon Moore.

Charlotte worked for Staats Hospital in West Virginia, but when she moved to Ohio and had children, she became a homemaker.

She was a member of both the Marion and Kenton Church of Christ.

Charlotte loved to be outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in her garden. She also canned a lot of the vegetables that she grew.

Memorial donations in Charlotte’s honor may be made to the Kenton Church of Christ.
