Chester “Chet” Wireman, 85 of Kenton passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born in Waynesfield on August 2, 1936 to the late Edgar and Alma (Hall) Wireman. Chet married Ruth Ann Augsburger on June 2, 1962 and she survives along with a son, Terry (Chris) Wireman of Huntsville, Ohio, daughter, Brenda (Mike) St. Clair of Kenton, five grandchildren; Jason (Janelle) Wireman, Kara (Grant) Ramsey, Stacey Kavanagh, Ashley (Drew) Suman, Mikie St. Clair and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Wireman is also survived by two brothers; George (Linda) Wireman and Alanzo (Gerda) Wireman. He was preceded in death by brothers; John, Eugene and Monroe Wireman and sisters; Juanita Pinks and Shirley Poling. Chet worked for many years in construction, working for Hullenkremer Construction. Chet was a thoughtful and caring person who always put others first. He was also a handy man, always helping others fix things and was a jack of all trades. Chet and Ruth Ann enjoyed attending auctions together. A private family service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
