Chester (Dean) Garrison age 61 of Upper Sandusky, died at his work site on Aug. 18, 2021. He was born in Galion on Oct. 30, 1959 to John and Loretta Sue (Riley) Garrison. He married Kathy LaMont on Aug. 8, 1998, she survives in Upper Sandusky. They shared 23 years of marriage.

Surviving are his children Jenni (Alex) McMonigal of Wayne, Donald Grove, KY, Jessica Burgess, Upper Sandusky, Bryan (Becki) Grove, Marion, Jessica Sauzo, NE, Anthony Sauzo, CO, Jacob Sauzo, CO, 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a sister Connie (Jeffrey) LaMont, SD. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Brenda Garrison.

Dean was a graduate of Galion High School. He was a contractor for many years. Dean was an active member of John Stewart United Methodist Church where he was in the men praise group and was a retired trustee of the church. He was a music lover and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar as well as the piano. He was passionate about history and was part of the Civil War re-enactment where you would see him shooting off cannons. Dean was an avid NASCAR, sprint racing and OSU football fan. He will be missed by many especially his wife, who he loved deeply.

A memorial service will be held Mon. Aug. 23, 2021 at Noon at John Stewart United Methodist Church with Pastor Johnny Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 on Mon. before time of services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Dean Garrison Memorial Fund in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E.
