A visitation for Clarence E. Cannode II will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial at Grove Cemetery will take place at a later date.

Clarence died on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his residence in Kenton. He was born on February 16, 1967 in Kenton to the late Clarence and Marjorie (Britton) Cannode. He married Michelle Winegardner and she preceded him in death on May 9, 2017.

Surviving are a son; Sheldon Cannode of Kenton, 7 sisters; Sherry (Myrl) Pash of Kenton, Janet (David) Jordan of Indiana, Penny Hauenstein of Kenton, Freda (Steve) Brim of Colorado, Jill (Brad) Case of Waynesfield, Amy (Steve) Walter of Kenton, Vanessa Bell of Kenton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister; Gloria Holbrook and an infant sister; Teresa Cannode.

Clarence was a Kenton High School graduate. He was employed with Midwest Express Inc. in West Liberty.

He was an avid football fan, who enjoyed taking his son to the Kenton Wildcats games and watching football on T.V. whenever it was on. He also enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions looking for old toys and collectibles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jill Case for Sheldon’s future needs.
