Obituary for Connie D. Smith

Connie D. Smith, 84 of Columbus and formerly of Kenton passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was born in Kenton, Ohio on February 13, 1939.  Connie married Ronald Smith and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Tim) Kellogg of Lewis Center, Ohio,  three grandchildren; Charlie, Kate and Kara Kellogg and two nieces, Sharon Pennington and Cyndi Cejka.  Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Pearl Erwin, a brother, Tom (Norma) Althouse and one niece, Barbara Althouse.  Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and former member of the Mt. Victory Church of Christ.  She was a very creative and unique person and she loved to crochet.  A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm Friday until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Connie to www.pdhc.org.  Online condolences can be expressed to the family by visiting stoutcrates.com.
