Cora Lee Holcomb, 86, of Kenton went to be with her husband of 64 years on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021.

She was born in Floyd County, KY on October 24, 1934 to the late William and Ollie (Bradley) Bailey.
Cora married Kenneth Holcomb on October 24, 1950, and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Patricia) Holcomb and Loretta (Carl) Perkins, both of Forest; David (Melony) Holcomb of Mt.Victory; and Teresa (Jeff) Williams of Belle Center. She is also survived by grandchildren Kenny (Tami) Holcomb, Michael Holcomb, Storm Holcomb,Jeff (Jamie) Perkins, Jeremy (Heidi) Perkins, Nick (Amanda) Height, Melissa (Drew) Good, Lindsey (Matt) Bechtel, and Tona Holcomb, step-grandchildren Chad Williams and Jeffrey (Brittany) Williams, greatgrandchildren Trevor and Tyler Hattery, Alex Holcomb, Tyson and Kenslie Good, Tanner and Avery Perkins, Taylor Holtsberry, Dylon (Chelsea), Gage and Colten Perkins, Brooke (Zac) Morris, Kayla, Collin and Carson Height,Luci, Laney and Azzy Bechtel, Ethan and Riley Williams, Cassidy and Waylon Holcomb, Brandon and Brooklyn Stone, and great-great grandchild Addison Perkins. Cora and her husband helped to raise several of their nieces and nephew: Susan Hassan, Carolyn Caudill, Becky Sheets and James Bailey.  She was also preceded in death by son William Douglas Holcomb, brothers Lewis and James Bailey, sister Reba Beltz, and a great-grandchild.

Cora was a former member of the McGuffey Church of Christ and a life member of the Hardin County Bowling Association. She worked at RCA in Findlay for 36 years before retiring. Cora was an avid reader, giving her a wonderful, widespread knowledge on life.  She and her husband enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 states.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow in Preston Cemetery.
