Dale F. Reinhart, age 76, of Upper Sandusky, died on March 18, 2021.

He was born in Alvada on October 28, 1944, to the late Simon C. and Christina “Betty” M. (Frankart) Reinhart. His father died and his mother remarried the late Lloyd LaFontaine.

Dale married Mary A. Smith on April 28, 1973 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kirby.

Surviving are his son Andrew (Kelly) Reinhart of Burbank and grandchildren Colby and Taylor, daughter Emily (Dave) Steen of Carey and grandchildren Drew, Luke, and Eli, and daughter Laura (Phil) Wright of Marion and grandchildren Abigail, Lily, Garrett and Daniel. Also surviving are his sisters Carolyn (Jim) Amburgey of Findlay, Patricia (Joe) Stevens of Alvada, stepsister Judy (Carl) Hucke of Carey. Dale is preceded in death by sister Mary Kathryn Earl, brothers Donald Reinhart, Eugene Reinhart, and Floyd Reinhart, and stepbrother Daniel (Joey) LaFontaine.

Dale graduated from New Riegel High School with the Class of 1962. Mr. Reinhart served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a Staff Sergeant, where he served as Crew Chief on C-130 planes.

Dale was a member of the Transfiguration of The Lord Catholic Church. He worked for Seneca Soil and Water for eight years and Wyandot County Soil and Water for 33 years. The highlight of his career was surveying US 30 with ODOT. He was a part time farmer and raised hogs.

Dale enjoyed woodworking from creating kitchen cabinets to dressers for his beloved grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM Tue. Mar. 23, 2021, at Transfiguration of The Lord Catholic Parish with Father Conrad Sutter OFM Conv. and Deacon Kevin Wintersteller officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-7PM Mon. Mar. 22, 2021, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home where a Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 6:45PM.
