A celebration of life for Daniel Jacob Hale will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Daniel died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was born on May 5, 1955 in Kenton to the late Curtis and Ruby (VanBuskirk) Hale. On August 25, 1984 he married Rose Mary King and she preceded him in death on February 16, 2021.

Surviving are 4 children; Dawn (Gary White) Welsh of LaRue, Brad (Kim) Fisher of DeGraff, Steven (Amy) Fisher of Marion, Stephanie (Tim) Sherman of Findlay, a sister; Sarah Mendez of Houston, TX, a brother; Paul Hale of Kenton, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister; Patricia Castle and a brother; James Curtis Hale.

Daniel was a Ridgemont High School Graduate. He worked for and retired from AVI Food Systems at Honda after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Kenton Eagles.

Daniel enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting anything he could get his hands on. He also enjoyed going fishing and playing softball in his younger years. Daniel loved his family and missed his wife dearly. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Daniel’s honor may be made to the Kenton Eagles.
