Obituary for David A. McLaughlin Sr.

David A. McLaughlin Sr. age 82 of Upper Sandusky, died Sept. 14, 2023 at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 2, 1941 in Carey to the late Daniel and Bernice (Ludwick) McLaughlin.

He married Carolyn J. Mick on April 19, 1965, and she survives in Upper Sandusky. Mr. McLaughlin is also survived by his children Debra McLaughlin, Upper Sandusky, David McLaughlin Jr. Upper Sandusky, Melissa Crutsinger, Fostoria and Beverly (David Martin) Zamora, Upper Sandusky, grandchildren Eric (Candace) Zamora, Dayton, Trisha (Drew) McClellan, Upper Sandusky, Amber
McLaughlin, Columbus and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mr. McLaughlin was a 1959 graduate of Carey High School. He worked at the former Westinghouse, then AO Smith for 40 years. Mr. McLaughlin attended Wildwood Chapel. He enjoyed tinkering and building things, and traveling especially to Tennessee.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Mon. Sept. 18, 2023 in Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00AM on Mon. Sept. 18, 2023 before time of services.
