David M. Eippert age 88 of Upper Sandusky, died Apr. 8, 2024 at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky.
He was born Jan. 24, 1936 to the late Paul E. and Dorthea L. (Boles) Eippert. He married Janis Warfel on Mar. 20, 1960, they had celebrated 64 years of marriage, she survives along with their children Laura Graham, Jean (Gary) Parsell, Joseph (Carolyn) Eippert and Sandra (Joseph) Vent, all of Upper Sandusky, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, sisters Nancy Kuenzli, Fostoria, Kathy (James C.) McGuire, Amanda and a brother Tom Eippert, New Bloomington. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Elizabeth Barnes, a brother Roy Eippert and a son-in-law Kevin Graham.

Mr. Eippert is a 1954 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in business from the University of Miami, FL. David served his country as a veteran of the United States Air National Guard. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky, and Chapel By The Sea, Fort Myers, FL where he enjoyed singing in the church’s choir. David loved cars, and was involved in car sales from the time he was 18 years old. He eventually founded Dave’s Ford car dealership in Upper Sandusky which he operated until his retirement. David was always proud of his community, and he served on many different organizations help make Upper Sandusky a great place to live and raise a family. He was a member of Warpole Lodge #176 F&AM, BPOE 83, Moose Lodge #1093, Upper Sandusky Lions Club, Upper Sandusky Rotary Club, Upper Sandusky Chamber Commerce, Ohio Auto Dealers Association, just to name a few. He enjoyed fishing in Canada, spending time at Bay Point on Lake Erie, wintering in Fort Myers, FL, gardening, watching birds, but most importantly, he loved his family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Fri. Apr. 12, 2024 in St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Barry Halter Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
