Obituary for Doris Halsey

Doris Fern Halsey, 87 of rural Arlington passed away at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

She was born in Hardin County on May 14, 1936 to the late Tracy Coy and Mabel (Scoles) Binkley. She married Clyde C. Halsey on July 8, 1955 and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2020. She is survived by two children, Linda K. (Richard) of Delaware, OH and William G. (Janet) Halsey of Mt. Airy, MD; two grandchildren, Dylan (Kaitlyn) Saad and Andrew Saad and a great-grandson, Felix Saad. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Susan Halsey; four brothers, Elmer, Lester, Leonard and Harold Binkley and two sisters, Hilda Young and Opal Musser.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am Saturday, July 1, 2023 at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington where the funeral service will commence at 11am. Burial will follow in Desenberg Cemetery, Lafayette, OH.
