A celebration of life for Doris Jean Chamberlain will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. 

Doris died on November 28, 2021 at the Marion General Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Everett Hawkins Jr. and Helen (Graham) Hawkins.

Surviving are 1 daughter; Melissa Thomas of Kenton, 1 son; Paul Massey of Kenton, 1 sister; Sherry (Jeff) Floyd of Arizona, 3 brothers; Ron Hawkins of Indian Lake, Cliff Hawkins of Eaton, Ohio, Jim Hawkins of Kentucky, 2 grandchildren; Lily Thomas, Nick Thomas, several nieces and nephews and a significant other; Rick Muncie of Kenton.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother; Eddie Stanley.

Doris was a member of the Kenton Eagles. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, traveling and playing the piano and always liked to practice something new.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
