Obituary For Dorothy A. Beaston

Dorothy A. Beaston age 87 of Frostproof, Fl, and formerly of Upper Sandusky died at her residence on Mon. Mar. 9, 2020. She was born June 9, 1932 in Upper Sandusky to the late George and Jenny (Hoffman) Armbruster. She married B. “Gene” Beaston on Aug. 14, 1954, he died on Feb. 13, 2016. Surviving is a son James Beaston, Upper Sandusky, daughters Sandra Bash, Upper Sandusky and Laura Beaston, Frostproof, FL, grandchildren Steven Beaston, Ann Beaston, Beverly (Andy) Kirby all of Upper Sandusky, great grandchildren Candice Dickerson, Landen Bailey, Wyatt and Clayton Kirby, great great grandchildren Brooklyn Grace Yingling and Haley June Brady, a brother Richard (Marjorie) Armbruster, sisters Lois Lucas and Wilma Greenwood.

She is a member of First Presbyterian Church, Frostproof where she sang in the church choir. Mrs. Beaston was a teacher for over 30 years in Ohio, primarily teaching the 5th grade. Mrs. Beaston was a past member of Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and singing.

A funeral service will be held Tues. Mar. 17, 2020 at 11:00AM at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Livingston officiating. Interment will follow in Oceola Cemetery, Oceola. Visitation is from 9:30-11:00AM before time of services at the funeral home.
