Funeral services for Douglas Randall Slusher will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Phil Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the funeral home. Masks will be required and Covid-19 protocols should be followed.

Douglas died on Monday, March 15, 2021, at his residence.

He was born on July 29, 1958 in Kenton to the late James and Rosetta (Garvey) Slusher. On June 6, 1978 he married Donna Titus and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are daughter Danelle Smock of Mt. Victory, son Douglas Daniel (Megan) Slusher of Kenton, sisters Patricia (David) Ward of Mt. Victory and Rose Annette Barnes of Lima, grandchildren Dylan Rigsby, Dorien Slusher, Gauge Smock, Xavier Slusher, and Leandra Slusher, and several nieces and nephews.

Doug is a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for International Paper in Kenton for over 25 years and was a member of Only Believe Ministries in Kenton.

Doug enjoyed being outside, gardening,  and feeding the squirrels and birds around the house.
