A graveside service for Edith Ann Denny will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Preston Cemetery in Alger. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Edith died on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at The Marion General Hospital. She was born on September 2, 1952 in Kenton to the late Ralph and Ethel (Miller) Dunson.. On December 25, 1979 she married Arthur Lee Denny and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1991.

Surviving are 2 brothers; Ralph (Louella) Dunson, Clifford Dunson, 2 sisters; Linda Bolen, Evelyn Dunson, 3 special nieces; Rebecca Skinner, Ethel Sauber, Stephanie (Bill) Howe, a special nephew; Stone Sauber, and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a special friend; Alta Fife.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers; Gary, Herbert, John, Richard, Lindsey, and 2 sisters; Clara and Mary Lou.

Edith worked at the Hardin County Home for 9 years as a nurse’s aid. She was a member of the Kenton Moose, Eagle and Amvets Post 1994.

Edith loved to watch Barney Fife and play solitaire on her laptop.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edith’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
