Erin R. Thacker age 40 of Wapakoneta, died July 18, 2023. She was born Feb. 12, 1983 in Kenton to Alan J. and Diana L. (Cain) Horner.  Her parents live in North Baltimore.  She had been married to Jess Alan Thacker, they later divorced. She is survived by her children Lance Thacker and Ethan Thacker, siblings Tracy Altvater, Jaimie Horner, Adam Horner, Zach Horner, Alysia Horner, Jerimiyah Horner and Jackson Horner.  She is preceded in death by a daughter Lucy Lynn Thacker, paternal grandparents Virginia Mabrey and Lloyd Mabrey, maternal grandmother Theresa Sexton.

She graduated from Penn Foster High School. Erin was a member of the Marseilles Ladies Fire Auxiliary and was a foster parent alternative for 10 children.

She loved all kinds of animals and fostered dogs through the Allen Co. Humane Society. She enjoyed camping, swimming, the outdoors, listening to music and taking pictures. Erin loved her family, and more than anything, being a mother to her three children, Lance, Ethan and Lucy, they were the loves of her life.

A private graveside service was held in Chandler Cemetery, Marseilles.  To assist the family, memorial contributions may be made to the Erin Thacker Memorial Fund in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 East Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
