Franklin Austin “Frank” Coyer, 84 of Kenton passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was born on October 19, 1937 to the late Benjamin and Mildred Estella Horne Coyer. Frank has five siblings that preceded him in death, Ralph Coyer, Jack Coyer, Marion Coyer, Viola Craig and Madalene Sharp, one step brother, Marion Coyer. He is survived by siblings, Margaret Frazier, of Huntsville, Florence Ellis of Kenton and Clarence “Buddy” Coyer of Bellefontaine. Frank is also survived by his children, Tammy “Marcy”, Brian, Benny and Franklin. Frank went to the First Church of God in West Liberty. He has worked at the Hardin County Fair since 1959. He also worked for Harley Baum and Rick Dunson. He was a member of the Amvets Local 1994 in Kenton. Mr. Coyer has numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a kind and loving soul and would stop to help anyone he could. Frank loved his sisters and brothers deeply. He is also survived by his best friend, was Susie Mattox. A funeral service for Frank will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM Thursday until the time of service.
