Glenda F. Scott, 80 of rural Kenton passed away at her residence on Friday, January 28, 2022. She was born on September 11, 1941 in Alger, OH to the late Raymond and Janie “Pearl” (Holbrook) Scott. She married Gary Scott on May 6, 1961 and he survives along with their three children, David L. (Carol) Scott, Bradley T. (Peggy, deceased) Scott and Melissa K. (Ronald) Rofe; seven grandchildren, Dustin Scott, Justin Scott, Shannon Ditto, Nathan (Samantha) Rofe, Morgan (James) Massara, Shane (Kelsey) Rofe and Laura Spradlin; seven great-grandchildren and three sisters, Judy (Kenneth) Dyer, Karen (Dave) Shirk and Cindy (Bill) Cook.
Glenda worked at USV Schools for 33 years as both a Teachers’ Aide and Librarian’s Aide. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandkids and watching their sporting events.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Holbrook officiating. Burial will be held at Fairview McDonald Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the services (12:00-2:00pm) Wednesday at the funeral home.
