Obituary for Hazel I. Horn

Hazel I. Horn age 80 of Patterson, died at her residence on Apr. 23, 2024. She was born Feb. 19, 1944 to the late George and Lillian Mae (Williams) Burton. She married Delson Horn and he later passed.  She then met her special companion James Elwood, and they spent over 30 years together until his passing. Mrs. Horn is survived by her children Faron Shaw, Forest, Loren Jay Shaw, Findlay, Tonya Horn, Upper Sandusky and Bryan Horn, Forest, 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, a sister Janet Baldridge, Findlay.  She is preceded in death by a son Timothy Shaw and a daughter Melissa Horn-Opper, 5 brothers and 6 sisters.

Mrs. Horn was a homemaker, and she enjoyed cooking & baking for her family & friends.  The family would like to Thank Briar Hill Nursing Home of North Baltimore & Heartland Hospice of Marion for their extraordinary care.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Tues. Apr. 30, 2024 at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Drumm officiating. Visitation will be held Mon. Apr. 29, 2024 from 4:00-7:00PM at the
