Jason Lee Brown, age 42, died at 7:14pm on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at his brother’s home in Forest surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. He was born on February 17, 1980, in Kenton, Ohio to Wesley R. Brown and Linda L. (McQuistion) Brown. His father and stepmother Teri Brown survive in Dunkirk and his mother survives in Athens, Ohio.
He is survived also by his daughters: Makayla Brown of Forest and Raelynn Hesson of Carey; brother, Tim (Tammy Moore) Brown of Forest; sister, Kassandra Brown-Manfre of Upper Sandusky; granddaughter, June White; grandmother, Sandie Wilkins of Houcktown. He was preceded in death by Grandfather, Charles Brown; uncle, Jeff McQuistion; cousins: Daniel Phillips, Chip Brown, and Ty Farthing.
Jason loved to fish, garden, work on cars, and watch football. He really loved his granddaughter and thought his grandmother, Sandie was special.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Arlington from 1-3pm, with funeral services at the conclusion of the visitation at 3pm. Pastor James Robinette will officiate and interment will be private. A dinner will follow the service at 1st Baptist Church.
