Jeanette L. “Jean” Miller, age 86, of Ada, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 1:17 PM at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 1, 1935, in Spencerville, Ohio to the late George and Germaine (Suever) Strayer. On November 12, 1954, Jean married David L. Miller and he preceded her in death on March 12, 2004.
Jean is survived by her two sons: Michael (Terri) Miller of Alger, and Douglas (Elizabeth) Miller of Bluffton; four daughters: Cindy (Ronald) Nichols of Bluffton, Julie (Richard) Boecher of Kenton, Leisa (Becky) Miller of Oro Valley, AZ, and Misty (Mark Schroeder) Lee of Ada; nine grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several step-great grandchildren; and two sisters: Shirley Strayer of Elida, and Joyce Brenneman of Delphos.
She was preceded in death by her great grandson, Terrence Miller; a brother, Paul Strayer; and two sisters: Mary Baxter, and Jane Youngpeter.
Jean attended the Grace Gospel Church, Ada.
A graveside service will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Preston Cemetery, Alger with Pastor Trent Boedicker officiating.
