Jeffrey G. Wahl 71

of Kenton

Funeral services for Jeffrey G. Wahl will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenton. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the church. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jeff was born on October 29, 1952, in Kenton, Ohio to the late Llyod and Ruth (Dodds) Wahl and passed away January 16, 2024. On September 29, 1979, he married Pamela Matson and they were married for 44 wonderful years.

Surviving are his children, Erin Wahl, Las Cruces, New Mexico, Alex (Stacy) Wahl, Findlay, Ohio, siblings; Mike (Robin) Wahl in Athens, Alabama, Roger (Vicki) Wahl in Hardford, Wisconsin, Meg (Leroy) Dietrich in Fenton, Missouri, brother-in-law, Jerry Henning Crete, Illinois,

He was preceded in death by a sister Judy Henning and a brother Craig Wahl.

Jeff graduated from Kenton High School and went on to get his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.

Jeff worked at Precision Strip for over 20 years, retiring in 2015. He was an active member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, holding many leadership and service roles. Jeff enjoyed farming for his whole life and also enjoyed pulling trees out of the woods on his tractor and getting the mail on his four-wheeler. What Jeff enjoyed the most was planting and tending to his garden, spending time with his family and grand dogs (Talia Sue and Baozi) and reading on his back porch. His family will miss his razor-sharp sense of humor, his do-it-yourself skills, his spot-on choices in flannel shirts and sweaters, his loving advice, infectious smile, and every moment both quiet and boisterous that we shared together. We are blessed to have been a part of his life and take the best parts of him with us into the future.

Memorial donations in Jeff’s honor may be made to the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenton or Not By Choice.

Online condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net.
