Jerry Fiebiger, 84, of Kenton, passed away at 5:40 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at his residence. He was born on April 27, 1938, in Rosewood, OH to the late Harold and Jessie (Zerkle) Fiebiger. He married Kay (Smith) Fiebiger on June 21, 1958, and she survives.
Jerry is also survived by his daughters: Penny (George) Fiebiger-Secor of Kenton and Gidge (Phillip) Goecke of Belle Center; sister, Waneta (Joe) Hermann of Troy; grandchildren: Lindsey (Bryan) Fine, Ricki (Nick) Coulson, Matthew (Haley) Reed, Josh (Taylor) Klinger, Whitney (Chris) Shaw, Tyler Shafer, Christian (Chelsea) Miller-Goecke, Morgan (Kyle) Uitermarkt, Georgia (Thomas) Burkett, Jordan Secor and Jackson Secor; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Jim, Howard and Bob Fiebiger.
Jerry was an entrepreneur throughout his life, having started and owned: Stomdale Industries, Findlay Machine, Silver Creek Supply and Fiebiger Farms. In 1995, he was voted Hardin County Citizen of the Year, of which he was very proud. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. Jerry was an avid golfer and was instrumental in developing the back 9 of the Memorial Park Golf Club in Kenton. He had more accomplishments and successes than most people can imagine but he was the most proud of his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. He was an amazing husband, dad, and grandpa, who was loved by so many, and he will be greatly missed. Remembering all the good times with him will keep his memory alive, as he was a man who walked tall and was proud of his family.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at SCHINEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton.
