A memorial service for John David Millington will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Living Light Apostoplic Church, 18838 Paver Barnes Road, Marysville, Ohio 43040. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

John died on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Marion General Hospital. He was born on May 31, 1947 in Marion to the late Frank and Starling (Shaw) Millington. He married his wife of 31 years, Linda Shaw and she survives.

Also surviving are 2 daughters; Robin (Steve) Murphy of Florida, Jeannette Campbell of Mt. Victory, 2 step-daughters; Lisa McCabe of New Jersey, Diane Traina of New York, 2 sisters; JoAnn Fields of Richwood, Mary (Dan) Knapp of West Mansfield, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 8 brothers, a sister, and a brother-n-law; Jim Fields.

John was a 1965 graduate of North Union High School. He worked for Whirlpool for over 25 years before retiring. He was also a zoning inspector for Morrow County.

John enjoyed farming and raising his own black angus cattle. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morrow County Humane Society.
