Funeral services for Julie DeLong will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Burial will be held at Dunkirk Cemetery at a later date. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the funeral home.

Julie passed away on April 18, 2024, at her residence in Kenton after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born on September 19, 1972, in Muskegon, Michigan to Kathy Charron of Muskegon, and the late Stan “Butch” Charron. She married Jack DeLong on February 18, 1995, and he survives in Kenton.

Also surviving is her daughter, Chelsey (Derek Mullett) DeLong of Kenton, brother, David Matthew (Sheri) Charron of Muskegon, grandchildren, Wyatt Bame, Lennon Mullett, Braxton Mullett, Braelyn Mullett and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kyle R. DeLong.

Julie was a baker for Community Markets in Ada for several years.

She enjoyed baking cakes, fishing, and snowmobiling. Her greatest joy came from loving on her grandchildren and working on Kyle’s Christmas Toy Drive in honor of her late son.

Memorial donations may be made in Julie’s honor to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
