Obituary for Kathy J. Williams

Kathy J. Williams, 72 of Kenton passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. She was born in Kenton on November 2, 1948 to the late James and Freda (Hibner) Glock. Kathy was a 1966 graduate of Kenton Senior High School. She retired from 30 years of service from the Pharmacy Department at Ohio Northern University in 2012.  She is survived by her son, Jason (Tammy) Williams of Kenton and a grandson, Blaize Williams of Gahanna, Ohio.  Kathy is also survived by her sisters; Pamela S. (Ken) Hanes  of Sarasota, FL, Judy (Vic) VonBlon of St. Mary’s, Ohio, Sharon Mabrey Fields of Kenton and Charlene Mabrey Hilty of Kenton and sister-in-law, Carol Mabrey of Kenton, Ohio. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Kenny Hilty, Jr., Kris Dodds, Gary Mabrey, Jr. Teresa Allen, Toni Schumaker, Jon Fields, Brian Fields, Blythe Coy, Mike McBridge, Kip McBride, Allison Holcomb, DeRay and Lance Weaver.    Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Mabrey, Sr. She enjoyed taking care of her home and garden and being outside taking long walks. Kathy was also a 26 years survivor of breast cancer. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
