Kenneth Lee Kingman, age 69, passed away May 5, 2023. He was born on May 10, 1953, in Kenton, Ohio to the late William and Leora (Clinger) Kingman.
He was a 1971 graduate of Kenton Senior High School (barely per his brother). He was employed by the Kenton phone company for 35 years as a lineman until his retirement. As a result, he had very good poison ivy remedies. He was also a Special Hardin County Deputy Sheriff for many years.
In his spare time, Kenny enjoyed hunting, target shooting, and watching John Wayne westerns repeatedly. He always said he wanted to be buried with one eye open. He loved family and was generous to a fault.
Kenny is survived by his stepmom Phyllis Kingman, brother Denny Kingman, step-sisters Carol McKinley (Paul), Jayne Merchant (Randy Verhoff), Lee Pace, Tammy Mitchell (Joe) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by good friend Dennis Hinton and lifelong friend Fred Sherman (60 years). He was preceded in death by step-brother James Jay (Mike) Merchant (Lynn), and brother-in-law Marvin Pace.
Kenny requested cremation with no service. Donations in Kenny’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice or the Hardin County Sheriff’s Auxiliary in care of Dennis Hinton 1285 South Main Street, Kenton, OH.
Arrangements are entrusted to SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences may be expressed at stoutcrates.com.
