Funeral services for Korey L. Critchfield will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the funeral home. The family has asked that everyone dress casually in their favorite Harley gear for Korey’s last ride.

Korey passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the Hardin Memorial E.R. in Kenton. He was born on November 19, 1969, in Kenton to Barbara (Miller) Benjamin and the late Justin Critchfield.

Surviving are his mother; Barbara (Don) Benjamin, his brothers; Kevin Critchfield, Jason (Trisha) Vermillion, sister; Karla (Billy) Baker, significant other; Amy Ray, mothers of his children; Chris Peterman, Christine Beery, children; Aubree (Joel) Critchfield, Autumn (Tristan) Francisco, Shelby (Nic) Collins, Seth (Rachael) Collins, Ashley (Eric) Thompson, Cody Ray, grandchildren; Hadley, Aspen, Harper, Leyton, Leland, Carter, Connor, Aurora, Navy, Charlie, Dalton, Jaxtin, Maverick, Aydan, Sutton, Bella, his fur babies; Turbo, Diesel, Baby Girl, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his best friend, Billy Sadler.

Korey was a 1989 graduate of Kenton High School. He worked as a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of the Amvets Post 1994 in Kenton as well as the Amvets Riders.

When he wasn’t spending time with his family and spoiling his grandkids, Korey enjoyed riding his motorcycle and his other vehicles. He loved to wheel and deal and always had side by sides, four wheelers or old cars in the garage ready to enjoy.

Korey was an incredible father and grandfather. He was a loyal friend and would help anyone if he could. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Korey’s honor may be made to the Amvets Pot 1994 or the Korey’s Family Fund account set up at Quest Federal Credit Union.
