Obituary for Larry Reissig

Funeral services for Lawrence “Larry” Raymond Reissig will be private. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry died on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on December 24, 1949 in Kenton to the late Lester and Pearl VanBuskirk.

On January 4, 2018, he married Penny Powell, and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are sister Diane Paul of Kenton and several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by brothers Joe Reissig and Butch VanBuskirk and sister Luella Style.

Larry was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a welder for Rockwell until his retirement in 2010.

Larry enjoyed being outside doing his gardening, shooting his guns, riding his 4-wheeler and watching the hummingbirds.
