A graveside service for Laura Pauley will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Preston Cemetery in Alger. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Laura died on Friday, May 20, 2022 at her residence in Dunkirk. She was born on January 8, 1934 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the late Clayborn and Arminda (Herlad) White. On December 29, 1951 she married James E. Pauley Sr. and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1990.

Surviving are a son; Max Pauley of Dunkirk, a sister; Charlotte Bowers of Kenton, a sister-in-law; Karen White of Dunkirk, 5 grandchildren; James Pauley III, Charles B. Pauley, Brandon J. Pauley, Nicole D. Oglesbee, Dustin E. Pauley, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son; James E. Pauley Jr., a brother; Clayborn White Jr., and an infant great-great-grandchild.

Laura retired from A.O. Smith.

She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Kenton and the Ohio Order of the Eastern Star.

In her free time, Laura enjoyed quilting, doing crossword puzzles and cooking.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice.
