Obituary for Lee Ellen Spain

Lee Ellen Spain age 62 of Forest, died at her residence on Sun. June 11, 2023. She was born Sept. 10, 1960 in Hardin County to the late Lee Edward and Mary Lou (Smithson) Ellcessor.

Lee Ellen married Brent M. Spain on May 11, 1985 and he survives in Forest. She is also survived by daughters Angel Miller, Allison (Austin) Carey and Katie (Michael) Gault, all of Forest, grandchildren Destiny, Jace, Makaya, Joah, Adryana and Rowan, and a sister Lori Kolhoff, Mt. Blanchard. She is preceded in death by a brother Eddie Lee Ellcessor and sisters Barbara Ann Krieger and Mary Margaret Ellcessor.

Mrs. Spain was a 1978 graduate of Riverdale High School.  She was employed at the former Budd Company/CSP, Carey for 39 years and had been an EMT for the Jackson Forest EMS from 1994-2011.

She enjoyed making flower arrangements, thrift shopping, mowing her lawn and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Fri. June 16, 2023 at 10:00AM in the Clark Shields Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thurs. June 15, 2023 from 4:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Jackson Forest EMS or CHP Hospice in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S.
