Obituary for Leisa June Reuther

Leisa June Reuther, 64 of Kenton, passed away peacefully at 9:46pm on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born in Oak Hill, West Virginia on August 26, 1959.

Leisa is survived by her spouse of 44 years, Edgar Mercer; son, Shawn (Cindy) Reuther; daughter-in-law, Tonya Perkins; eight grandchildren, Josh Bartlett, Jessica Clymer, Justus Reuther, William Mercer, Maryah Mercer, Cody (Hali) Mompher, Paige Becraft and Alyssa Becraft; six great-grandchildren, Lailah, Lilly, Lincoln, Daniel, Rylie and Lance. She is preceded in death by two sons, Rodney William Mercer, Jr. and William Troy Jackson (TJ) Mercer.

Leisa loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and her flower garden.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am on Thursday, September 28, 2023 in the Committal Building at Grove Cemetery with funeral services beginning at 11:00am.
