Obituary for Lela M. Sweigard

Lela M. Sweigard age 89 of Upper Sandusky, died at Westbrook Assisted Living, Upper Sandusky on Aug. 19, 2022. She was born in Upper Sandusky on May 21, 1933 to the late Floyd and Mildred (Binau) Sweigard. Surviving is a brother Robert (Sherry Kocher) Sweigard, Upper Sandusky. She is preceded in death by
a brother Nelson Sweigard.

She is a 1951 graduate of Salem High School.
Ms. Sweigard was a member of the former North Salem Lutheran Church and women of the church, she is now a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She had worked as a secretary for Wyandot Co. Probate office and then was a program assistant for ASC.

She was a member of Wyandot Memorial Hospital Guild, Red Hat Society, Farm Bureau and National Association of Retired Federal Employees. In her younger years she enjoyed ceramics, vegetable and flower gardening and traveled extensively through out Europe.

Funeral services will be held on Fri. Aug. 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Halter officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00p.m. till time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
