Obituary for Linda S. Welker

Linda S. Welker, age 75 of Upper Sandusky died at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky on Sun. Nov. 26, 2023. She was born on Sept. 20, 1948 in Bucyrus to Clyde E. Rodgers and Lola M. Swartz. She married Edward J. Welker on Mar. 2, 1968 in the First Lutheran Church, he preceded her in death on July 26, 2010. Linda is survived by her daughters Lisa Welker, daughter and son-in-law Kristin and Andy Ealy and granddaughter Kloe Ealy, brothers and sisters Clyde Rodgers, David Ziegler, Rosalyn Mitchell, Bonnie Snowden, Donna Auck, Moe Dickerson, Rose Earls and Dave Shartle, brother-in-law Sam Welker and sister-in-law Marianne Higley, many cousins, nieces and nephews and, of course, her many, many, daytime grandchildren that entered her home and heart. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Ed, grandson Logan, brothers Larry Rodgers, Stan Craig, Henry Steinbaugh, Allen Steinbaugh and brother-in-law Lynn Welker.

She was member of First Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. Many knew her from Big Wheel, Pamida, McDonald’s and Arby’s.

Funeral services will be held on Thurs. Nov. 30, 2023 at 11:00AM in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Kathleen Shuck officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wed. Nov. 29, 2023 from 4:00-7:00PM and an hour prior to services at the funeral home on Thurs. The family request casual attire for visitation.
