Funeral services for M. Evelyn Bell will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor David Kiper Officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery.

Evelyn died on Monday, November 8, 2021 while in peaceful sleep at her home. She was born on May 11, 1939 in Williamsport, Ohio to the late Alvin and Anna (Conner) Martindale. She married Donald Bell in 1960 and they later divorced.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Anna Williamson of LaRue, Cindy Monroe of Cleveland, 2 siblings; Ralph “Sonny” (Becky) Martindale of Kenton, Kathryn “Cookie” (Dan) German of Bellefontaine, grandchildren; Heather (Jesse) Knapp, Lora Drumm, Justin Bard, Evelyn Williamson, Richard Williamson II, great-grandchildren; Raelynn Knapp, Evan Knapp, Joseph Knapp, Kenny Knapp, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog; Daisy Mae.

She was preceded in death by an infant son; Donald Bell Jr, siblings; Elsi Sharp, Charles Martindale, Martha Cornwell, and Betty Predmore.

Evelyn was a woman with a true servant’s heart.She volunteered at the Kenton Full Gospel food pantry, putting the needs of others first and had an enormous giving spirit. 

She attended the Berea Baptist Church in Kenton, and she loved her church family dearly.

Evelyn will be remembered with great love and respect by all that knew her. She will be forever missed by her family and friends, but know that Evelyn knew Christ as her savior and has an eternal home in Heaven with him. One day if we know Jesus Christ as our savior we too will see her again. 

Memorial donations in Evelyn’s honor may be made to the Berea Baptist Church in Kenton.
