Obituary for Marion G. “Bud” Sons

Marion G. “Bud” Sons age 90 of Forest, died at Wyandot Co. Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center on Monday July 15, 2024. He was born Sept. 27, 1933 in Patterson to the late Julian A. and Alice E. (Gebby) Sons.

Surviving are his children; Lee Ann (Ronald) Loveridge, Forest, Becky Sue Sons, Forest, Robert Eugene (Char) Sons, FL, James Matthew (Vicki) Sons, Findlay, Beverly (David) Martin, Upper Sandusky, Carrie (Thomas) Hoover, St. Cloud, MN, Tessa (Monte) Spuhler, MN, Jesse Sons, MN, 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, his twin sister Miriam “Susie” Johnson and Joyce Price. He is preceded in death by a son Mark Dewayne Sons, brothers, Walter Sons, Edward Sons, Harold Sons, sisters Anna Mae Shrider and Louise McVitty.

Bud was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during Korea. He was of the Methodist faith.
Bud was a carpenter for Leon Thacker for many years in the Forest area, and a carpet installer for McBride’s Furniture. He retired as head of maintenance from Apy high school district in Tuscan AZ.
