Mark Allen Badertscher, 57 of Roundhead passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima.  He was born on June 22, 1964 in Kenton to Charles Leroy and Margaret Maxine (Cox) Badertscher, his mother is deceased.  He married Heather Burden on August 23, 1992 and she survives along with their children, Dustin (Ciera) Badertscher and Kaitlyn (Zach) Ireland; grandchildren, Thomas, Brightynn, Colt, Brixxen and Gunner and brothers, Chuck (Melinda) Badertscher, Doug (Stephanie) Badertscher and John (Melissa) Badertscher along with multiple nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
He was a 1982 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School and retired from ACI as a grounds keeper.
Mark enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, trapping and being outdoors in his side-by-side.  His favorite time of year was “Fair Season”, he enjoyed watching the cattle show at the Hardin County Fair.  He was a member of the Cattlemen’s Association and was a former volunteer firefighter with the Roundhead Fire Department.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was always willing to help anyone in need.  He worked for  Roundhead Township, mowing cemeteries and the Roundhead Park taking care of the park and also mowing.
Funeral services will be held at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 3:00pm with Pastor Amber Rex officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be held for two hours (1:00-3:00pm) Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorials can be directed to Hardin Co.
