Obituary for Mark N. Gossard

Mark N. Gossard, 61 of Forest, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima due to complications of Covid-19. He was born on August 31, 1960 in Kenton to the late Ralph N. and Ruth M. (Harper) Gossard.  Mark is survived by his wife of 31 years, LeJeanne Lynn Gossard whom he married on September 22, 1990 in Kenton.  He is also survived by three children; Billy (Trisha) Nelson, Jerry (Bethany) Nelson and Dusti (Ben) Gossard, one sister, Randy (Dwight) Paul, brothers-in-law; Bruce Eiden of Grand Rapids, MN and Bill Brown of Kenton, five grandchildren; Zayne, Trintin, Carmyn, Katy, Neal and several nieces and nephews.  Mark was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Anita Eiden of Grand Rapids, MN and Peg Brown of Kenton, one brother, Ronnie Gossard of Kenton, a niece, Bridgett Wertz of Grand Rapids, MN and close friend, Keith H. Ries of Kenton.  Mark was a loving husband and father.  He had a laugh and smile that could fill a room. Mark loved going to McDonald’s to sit and talk with his friends, going to truck and tractor pulls, camping and working for Osborn Towing for many years.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM Tuesday until the time of service. A private burial will take place at a later date.  Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Mark to the American Kidney Foundation.
