Mary Anne Pfeiffer age 74 of Forest, died at Bridge Hospice Care Center on Apr. 27, 2022. She was born Mar. 4, 1948 in Tiffin to the late Arley and Doris (Hall) Brown.
She married D. Norman Pfeiffer Oct. 21, 1967, he preceded her in death on Apr. 18, 2005. Mrs. Pfeiffer is survived by a daughter Lori (Gregory) Stine and a son Tony (Beverly) Pfeiffer, both of Forest, grandchildren Tiffany (Quentin) Strader, Forest, Alexis (Dustin Gobel) Holtzberger, Tiffin, Tyler Pfeiffer, Forest, Shelby (Ray Rose) Pfeiffer, Mt. Blanchard, 3 great grandchildren Caydence, Tory and Riley Strader. She is preceded in death by a brother David Brown.
Mrs Pfeiffer graduated in 1966 from Upper Sandusky High School. She retired from Wilson Sporting Goods, Ada in 2005. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on their family farm. Mrs. Pfeiffer belonged to Greenwood Grange, Kenton. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, shopping and attending county fairs to see all the people. The family referred to her as American’s Grandma because she didn’t know a stranger.
Funeral Services will be held on Tues. May 3, 2022 at 10:30AM in Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Rarey officiating. Interment will follow in Grove Cemetery, Kenton. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00PM Mon. May 2, 2022 at Clark Shields Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice, Greenwood Grange or to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
