Obituary for Mary Ella Gregory

Mary Ella Gregory age 90 of Upper Sandusky died at her residence on Apr. 5, 2021. She was born Mar. 1, 1931 in Wyandot Co. to the late Russell and Wilma (Wentz) Williams. She married Lester A. Gregory, they were divorced and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter Judy Hartman, Nevada, a son Willam A. Gregory, Upper Sandusky, a daughter-in-law Beth Gregory, Upper Sandusky, granddaughters Kelsey, Amy, Linda and a grandson Cory. 4 great grandchildren and a special companion Walter Turney of Upper Sandusky for 30 plus years, a sister Rita McGinness, The Villages, FL and a brother Raymond Williams, Buckeye, AZ. She is preceded in death by sons Mike Gregory, Don Gregory and Daniel Gregory and a grandson Brian, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Mrs. Gregory had been a waitress at the former Woods Restaurant, The Steer Barn, Karl’s Restaurant, Karl’s Golf Club and retired from the dietary department at Fairhaven Community Care Center where she had worked from 1984-1997.

She was a former member of the Moose, she enjoyed bowling, collecting any and everything with Cardinal birds and her life was one of serving others.

Private family graveside service will be held at Old Mission Cemetery with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating.
