Obituary for Maxine L. Rish

Maxine L. Rish, 98 of Kenton passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021.  She was born on March 15, 1923 in Kenton to the late George and Louise Fitzpatrick.  On April 28, 1946 she married David Rish and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2005.  Maxine was a 1940 graduate of Kenton Senior High School and a 1945 Graduate of Mount St. Joseph School of Nursing. She had a long working career as an industrial and hospital nurse. Maxine further served as Director of Nursing for San Antonio and Hardin Memorial Hospitals. She was active in the community serving on the Hardin Home Health Board, Hardin County Board of Health and was past President of the Hardin County AARP. She was also a lifetime member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Painter Creek Grange and Kenton BPW.  Maxine and her husband Dave, were honored by the Hardin County Chamber as Hardin County Citizens of the year in 1995. She is survived by her three children; Stephen (Maeva) Rish of Columbus, OH, Melinda Fitzpatrick of Medina, OH, Deloris (Franklin) Flowers of Gainesville, FL, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
