A celebration of life for Mike Zedeker will be held at a later date. His wishes were to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Mike passed away April 7, 2022 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 12,1952 in Marysville to the late George and Carolyn (Shoemaker) Zedeker. He married Beth Coleman and they later divorced. He then married Carol Kerns December 22, 2021 and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are 1 daughter; Corey Price of Delaware, 1 son; Clint (Michelle) Zedeker of Bellefontaine, 2 sisters; Darlene (Steve) Bates of West Mansfield, Diane (Don) Stevens of Florida, 3 grandchildren; Jordi (Justin) Shupert, Jakai Zedeker, Mia Johnson, 3 great-grandchildren; Cameron Bumgardner, Charlie Shupert, Kayleigh Shupert and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jeff Zedeker, Doug Zedeker and 2 sisters; Vicki Huffman and Connie Kinney.

Mike retired from Airstream after 26 years. He was a Fire Chief for 20 plus years at Bokes Creek Township Fire Department and also owned the gas station in West Mansfield.

He was a member of the West Mansfield United Methodist Church.

Mike enjoyed fixing and tinkering with cars, riding his motorcycle, having cookouts and going to different fairs where he especially enjoyed the food.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
