Funeral services for Milton Akins Beazley will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at The First Baptist Church of Kenton with Pastor BJ Thomsen officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Masks will be required and Covid-19 protocols should be followed at all services.

Milt was called home suddenly to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 7, 2021.

Born to Carroll & Eunice (Akins) Beazley on April 3, 1939 he was the oldest of three brothers. Both parents preceded him in death.

 He married the love of his life, Irene Waters on February, 14, 1959 and she survives.

Son, David (Connie) Beazley, grandson Trevor (Natasha) Beazley, great-grandsons Grady Kleman-Beazley and Colton Beazley also survive, as well as brothers Lawrence (Helen) and Fred (Helen) Beazley.

Devoted husband, loving father, proud grandad/great grandad, Milt was always busy. Whether it was gardening, landscaping, golfing, hunting, fishing, going to the YMCA, tending to his birds in the yard, or working in the ministries of his church – First Baptist of Kenton; he was continually giving of himself to others. Quick-witted with an infectious laugh, he was always one to brighten any room he entered.

He quietly mentored and encouraged countless people, young and old over his lifetime, choosing to remain behind the scenes, never seeking adulation nor credit. He will be missed by us all.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Kenton to be used for Operation Christmas Child.
