Obituary for Myrtle B. Kalb

Myrtle B. Kalb age 85 of Forest, died at her residence on July 20, 2021. She was born Sept. 1, 1935 in Kenton to the late Veryl and Edna (Smith) Unkart. She married Perry G. Kalb on May 15, 1954, he preceded her in death on Apr. 17, 2020. Surviving are her children Ren Kalb, Kenton, Denise Schwartz, Kenton, Nina (Orville) Rowe, Galion, Perry Kalb, Kenton, Dolores (Tom) Mulholland, West Mansfield, Sam (Lori) Kalb, Kenton, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by daughter-in-law Alyce Kalb, a son-in-law James Schwartz, a brother Veryl Unkart, 3 sisters Cheryl Haudenshield, Claudia Melvin and Georgia Sheldon.

She had worked at Johnson Candy Co., and for 11 years at Corinthian Nursing Home, Kenton, as a housekeeper. She enjoyed taking care of her cats and watching her Elvis Presley movies.

A graveside service will be held on Thurs. July 22, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in the Jackson Center Cemetery with Rev. Gary T. Mulholland officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thurs.
