Funeral services for Peggy Jo Johnson will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Reverend Randall Forester officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 3 hours prior to the services at the funeral home. 
Peggy died on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Lima Memorial Hospital. Peggy was born in Kenton on December 9, 1940 to the late Stanley and Doris (Ommert) Musgrave. She married Larry Johnson on June 8, 1959 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2003.
Surviving are 1 son; Randal (Janet Smith) Johnson of Spencerville, a daughter-in-law; Karla Johnson of Alabama, 3 grandchildren; Brittney Marie (Jeremih Daniel) Prevatt of Alabama, Brooklynn Daniel (Terry Daniel) Cantrell of Alabama, Dustin Daniel (Miranda Marie) Johnson of Alabama, 9 great grandchildren; Mayvie Jay Johnson, Makenlee Briar Johnson, Emmitt Daniel Cantrell, Kaden Cantrell, Colten Brent Turner, Justin Tyde Turner, Isaiah Prevatt, Layla Prevatt and Caden Prevatt.
She was preceded in death by 1 son; Jay Daniel Johnson and 1 grandson-in-law; J.T. Turner.
Peggy was a Teacher’s Aide for many years at Simon Kenton School where she truly enjoyed being with the kids. In her spare time she also loved to babysit in her home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
