Obituary For Phyllis J. Weaver

Phyllis J. Weaver of Upper Sandusky died at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on March 6, 2020. She was born April 13, 1931 in Salem Township to Willis D. and Lela G. (Stoll) Binau. Phyllis married William E. Weaver on August 27, 1950 and he preceded her in death on December 21, 2011.

Surviving is a daughter Rinda (Rick) Kraus of Upper Sandusky, sons Lyle (Lori) Weaver of Upper Sandusky, Douglas Weaver of Carey, nine grandchildren Damon (Jennie) Kraus, Jason (Sarah) Kraus, Jared (Jamie) Kraus, Miles (Lana) Weaver, Collyn (Jake) Badenhop, Mason Weaver, Chase Weaver, Courtney Weaver, Janae Weaver, nine great grandchildren, brother Gene (Sara Lou) Binau of Upper Sandusky. She was preceded in death by brothers Melford “Pete” (wife Ann) Binau, Don (wife Dorothy) Binau, sister Geraldine “Peg” (husband Ross “Bud”) Orians.

Phyllis was an active life member of North Salem Lutheran Church. When they consolidated with St. Paul Lutheran Church she continued serving God and others. Phyllis assisted her father in the operation of the Lovell Market. For years she worked on the farm along the side of her husband. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, following her grandchildren events, watching OSU football and basketball and doing for her family.

A visitation will be held Tuesday March 10, 2020 from 9am-11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky. A funeral service will follow at 11am with Pastor Edward Hunker officiating. Burial will be held at North Salem Lutheran Church, Salem Township. A time of remembrance will be held in the fellowship hall of St. Paul Lutheran Church following the burial. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E.
