Funeral services for Phyllis Lynn Blum will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Hale Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. 

Phyllis died on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the Blanchard Place in Kenton. She was born on August 10, 1947 in Bellefontaine to the late Malcolm and Ruby (Dye) Floss. James and Lorene Harned were her bonus father and mother after the passing of her mother when she was 2 years old. 

Also surviving are her 3 children; Donna Lorene (Bill) Conrad, Debbie Lynn (David) Harrell, Robert (Wendy) Blum, 1 step-son; Donnie Blum,  2 brothers; Denny (Dolly) Floss, Mike (Rita) Floss, sisters; Bonnie Ball, Ruth Ball, Becky Will, Sandy Will, Marilyn (James) Hunley, a brother-by-heart Larry (Cheryl) Harned, sisters-by-heart; Ruth (Donnie) Kelly, Becky (Joe) Collins, Rena (Dave) Allen, grandchildren; Donathan (Stacia) Wise, Laisha (Jordy) Rea, Drake (Sydney) Barnes, Stephen Dick, Jayden Kramer, Austin Dick, Faith Kramer, Zane Blum, Arden Blum, Mathew (Meghan) Blum, Jesse (Mike) Hill, step-granddaughters; Britni (Bo) Fout, Brandi (Jerry) Darst, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by 2 step-children; Tim Blum, Raymond Spires, a brother; Jack Garwood, a half-brother; Malcolm “Skeeter” Floss Jr., sisters; Janie Cummings, Judy Shannon, and Shirley Bishop.

Phyllis was a member of the Kenton Church of God.

She loved hunting, fishing, sewing, doing crosswords, reading, making candy with her daughters, but most of all she loved her precious kitty; Toti.

Memorial donations in Phyllis’ honor may be made to Not By Choice or the Hardin County Humane Society.
