A graveside funeral service for Poppy Nichols will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building in Kenton with Rev. Steve Ramsey officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Poppy died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Vancrest of Delphos. She was born on August 17, 1948 in Kenton to the late Harold and Pearl (Marquis) Columber. She married Randolph Nichols and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son; Jamie (Chonticha) Nichols of Amirillo, TX, a sister; Linda Columber, 3 grandchildren; Kayla, Braden, Morziah and a great-granddaughter; Nichole.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Darlene Wible.

Poppy was a Kenton High School graduate. She worked in administration for United Aircraft in Forest.

Poppy loved gardening, both vegetables and flowers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ada Food Pantry.
