Obituary for R. Daryl Nickell

R. Daryl Nickell, 67 of rural Dola passed away at Hardin Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.  He was born on August 31, 1954 in Kenton to the late Dorsey and Isabelle (Storts) Nickell.  He married Malynda K. Duvall on November 17, 1979 and she survives along with their two children, Kyle Nickell of Shelby and Kory (Nick) Williams of Bellefontaine and four grandchildren, Kaelynn, Kinleigh, Amelia and Beckett.  A brother, David Nickell and a sister, Sharon (Rodney) Arn also survive.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Nickell.  
Daryl enjoyed anything outdoors, and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing, but the highlight of his life was spending time with the grandkids.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, kids and grandchildren.  An open house will be held at Daryl and Malynda’s home on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2:00-4:00pm and online condolences and memories to be shared with the family can be expressed by visiting stoutcrates.com.
