Obituary for Ralph E. Barker

Ralph E. Barker age 82, of Upper Sandusky passed away at Bridge Hospice of Findlay on January 26, 2024. He was born in Grayson, KY on October 12, 1941 to the late Jess and Ethel (Pope) Barker. Ralph married Mary Moses on February 4, 1961.

He is survived by his wife Mary Barker, children Julie Ann (Gordon) Strait, Sycamore, and Scott (Tamara) Barker, Upper Sandusky, grandchildren Christina (Brandon) Gaietto, Wesley Strait, and Sam Barker. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Ronnie Barker, and Jim Justice.

Ralph was a graduate from Hitchins High School in Kentucky and then attended a machinist trade school. He was a U.S. Airforce veteran serving from 1959-1965. Ralph was a retired machinist and tool maker with United Aircraft in Forest for 36 years. He was a member of the Wyandot County Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 11:00am at Old Mission Cemetery with pastor Mike Darling officiating.
